Finalist Nepal In 2010 SAFF Championship
Nepal registered second consecutive win of the tournament in SAFF Women’s championship in Sri Lanka. With skipper Jamuna Gurung’s second hat-trick Nepal thrashed Maldives 5-0 to enter semi-final in style. Nepal meets Afghanistan on 12 September in last match of group stage. Earlier Nepal humiliated lowly Pakistan by 8 goals. Nepal, Pakistan, Maldives and Afghanistan are in same group where as host Sri Lanka, India, Bhutan and Bangladesh are in the other.
